Hi there!
interesting! a web in Espiranto, and from someone in the UAE. extremely interesting. What other languages do you speak?
Yeah, actually. Apart from English and Esperanto, Arabic :) Let's see, I can also make sense out of some French if that's any help :)
very cool indeed.. I can speak English + 3arabi mainly, and know enough French to read the weather forcast in Le Monde, and enough Italian to order one of their really good coffees :)
Esperanto I've heard about but never ever seen it written before. Is this some kind of linguistic experiment for academic reasons?
It was actually started to give people a neutral language to be used for "cross-cultural" relations. So, technically, it's an international language.
The ideology of neutrality has a lot to do with the language, but I use it more of a personal preference since it's very easy to learn. :)
Read the Wikipedia entry on it:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Esperanto
but still you didn't tell us .. did you learn the language here in the UAE? :)
I just read the Wikipedia page on it .. amazing ..
Saluton, mi nomiĝas moryarti. Estas bela tago.

:o)
Yep, I did. Learned it alone, online. :)
Ĉaŭ! (read: Ciao) :p
Fascinating. My spanish teacher in college told us about Esperanto and the proposal at the time to make it a form of EU language. Of course that didn't happen but even so, very interesting. Perhaps a post should be written about this..hmmm.
